The Test and Itchen Association
The Test and Itchen Association are an association set up to protect the rivers Test, Itchen and Meon in Hampshire. The rivers are popular with fly-fishermen and the association can offer discounted late availability to its members. When the association approached Simon Web to build them a website, they had several clear objectives. Firstly, to promote the good efforts of the association and a vehicle to publish their annual river reports. The association also wanted to increase membership and so the site needed an ecommerce element for visitors to sign up and buy a membership. Also, the association wanted to offer late availability fishing on the rivers and so representatives of the fisheries have the ability to log in to the website and add discounted fishing dates to their members.
